Autumn Mystery ChallengeGreetings Castle Dwellers...
Our new challenge is "Autumn Mystery." Some of us are looking forward to the wonderful colors and vibe of Autumn/Fall (those who are not, let's pretend 'K? ) As I mused over the challenge for the group, I came across a new watercolor I'd just gotten-"Autumn Mystery" and BAM! that idea struck a chord with me.  It seems as though the season and mystery really do go together, yes?
So here are the details:
your artwork MUST have Autumnal/Fall imagery included in it. ALSO, depict a mystery of some imagining. If it's not clear by the picture, include details of the mystery in your description. Please take note of this as failing to do what is being required could affect your chances of winning the game.
Size and orientation open.

Four Seasons Playing Cards CHALLENGEGreetings Castle Folk...
I hope the time off has given you the "antsies" to play in our new game. We're going back to the roots of this group by doing a playing card type of challenge. Don't let it weird you out, the biggest change is simply the alteration of the size of your work. Please enjoy the samples I'll be posting from the first time I'd done this challenge, wherein the deck was printed and made available. The wonderful artist and writer, Nick Bantock, joined us  as well as "transformational" cards artist Peter Wood in the fun.  Here are the details:
The four suits will be represented by a season, meaning whatever card you choose to illustrate will need to have that suit's seasonal aspects to it.
Clubs= Summer
Spades= Autumn
Hearts= Spring
Diamonds= Winter
Joker- your choice of season
You MUST include the number or initial (if one of the royals) and suit images somewhere in the art. Failure to follow this rule will likely cause your work to not
